01Acceptance of Terms & Identity

By accessing, registering an account, or playing BrowserTopia ("the Game"), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms").

Clarification of Identity: BrowserTopia is a 2D multiplayer sandbox massively multiplayer online (MMO) game running on a high-performance 60 FPS HTML5 Canvas engine and real-time binary WebSockets. It is not an internet browsing software or application such as Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, or Safari.

02Player Accounts, Google Authentication & Security

To participate in world building, inventory synchronization, clan activities, and multiplayer trading, players may authenticate via official Google Identity Services (GSI OAuth 2.0) or verified credentials, protected by Cloudflare Turnstile bot mitigation.

You may not share, sell, transfer, or rent your account credentials to any third party.
You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and all activities occurring under your account.
If you suspect unauthorized access, notify the BrowserTopia Staff & Support Team immediately at [email protected].
BrowserTopia staff and administrators will never ask for your password under any circumstances.

03Fair Play & Anti-Cheat Architecture

BrowserTopia enforces a strict server-authoritative network protocol (validated binary opcodes) to guarantee a fair, cheat-free sandbox economy.

Zero Tolerance Violations (Subject to Permanent Account Termination):

Item Duplication & Transaction Exploitation: Intentionally manipulating network latency, desynchronizing WebSocket frames, or abusing trade sessions to clone blocks, seeds, or gems.
Unauthorized Automation: Deploying third-party bots, auto-clickers, macro tools, or packet injection scripts to automate mining, tree harvesting, splicing, or dungeon combat.
Server Disruption: Flooding WebSocket gateways, forging protocol opcodes, or orchestrating DDoS attacks against game infrastructure.

Operational Flight Recorder & Moderation Telemetry:

To guarantee fair play, resolve reported item disputes, and detect automated rule violations, BrowserTopia maintains an internal, server-side flight recorder logging in-game actions (chat messages, trading exchanges, chest interactions, item drops, and block modifications). Detailed telemetry records are retained on an automated 14-day cycle and accessed strictly by authenticated, identified core developers and moderation personnel under strict confidentiality guidelines, as detailed in our Privacy Policy.

04Virtual Economy, Gems & Payment Gateways

In-game currency (Gems), blocks, tools, consumable recipes, cosmetic wings, and dungeon keys are limited, revocable digital licenses granted solely for personal gameplay within BrowserTopia.

Official Payment Channels & Processing Partners

All microtransactions are handled through our secure payment gateway infrastructure and authorized institutional partners:

KlikQRIS: Instant QRIS payments for Indonesian banking and e-wallets (GoPay, OVO, DANA, ShopeePay, BCA Mobile).
Whop: Global credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), Apple Pay, and Google Pay.
Cryptocurrency Gateways: Bitcoin Lightning Network (instant, zero-fee micropayments via LNBits), Ethereum/EVM (Arbitrum, Base, Polygon, Mainnet), and Solana.

Digital Goods & Refund Policy: Because virtual Gems and in-game packs are delivered immediately upon confirmation by payment webhooks, all purchases are considered fully performed digital goods and are strictly non-refundable. Real-Money Trading (RMT) outside official channels is strictly prohibited.

05Lucky Gem Gacha & Google Rewarded Ads

BrowserTopia features the Lucky Gem Gacha, an optional reward system powered by Google AdSense & Google H5 Games Ads (Ad Placement API) allowing players to claim up to 5,000 free Gems daily by viewing video advertisements.

Prizes are determined by server-side weighted random number generation (RNG) with automated daily rate limits and cooldown intervals.
Circumventing Google Ad players, utilizing automated ad-clickers, or spoofing ad-completion signals constitutes a direct breach of these Terms and may result in immediate account restrictions.

06World Ownership Locks, Clans & Player Conduct

Players enjoy full creative freedom to construct worlds, establish Clan Halls, plant spliced seed orchards, and manage Vending Machine storefronts.

World Locks: Placing a Small Lock, Big Lock, or World Lock grants the placing player administrative authority over that world. You are responsible for who you grant build access to.
Safe Trading: All player-to-player trades must utilize the built-in two-phase commit Secure Trade Window or authorized Vending Machines. "Drop-trading" is unprotected and done at your own risk.
Social Behavior: You agree not to post defamatory, obscene, harassing, hateful, or abusive messages via world chat, clan channels, or world bulletin boards.

07Service Availability & Game Balancing

BrowserTopia is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We continuously balance item recipes, drop rates, combat mechanics in The Cursed Catacombs, and server infrastructure. Temporary maintenance windows may occur for major game updates and infrastructure deployments.
